Good Morning Cali
Yep it is morning and it is looking to be a gorgeous day on the ranch here...okay not ranch...not even ranch house LOL...just sounded good!
So Happy Saturday all...and I surely hope that you are not going to running around like a chicken with its head cut off either. Holidays, dinners, family...OMG it all gets so nuts sometimes. I am stressing myself because I have over 20 people coming tomorrow and worried if I will have enough food prepared! Only 2 of us are wls peeps!
Anywho....what about that great surprise Miss Rhonda has? I was busting a gut for her to get on her and make her baby announcement.... Rhonda is a good mother and parent...anyone who has met her children would know that....her kids are the best behaved and sweet kids that I have ever met. I know Awna is going to be one lucky girl to be in that family!
Sweeny girl hit that magical number...the Century Mark...how cool is that gang? Please stop by and wish her continued success!
Nikki I am sure you are up running and probably off to work already....I hope you have a great day! I wish I could make this lunch but I was invited by a former student to her (I can't spell it) Quinseaira (her sweet 15), and I would not miss it. Only 3 of us were invited from school, the couselor, me and an aide. I feel very honored.
Hey Lisa I think all the spring cleaning that Rhonda got me into has really rubbed off....OMG do not work too hard and enjoy what you can at the buffet.
Delores isn't that the truth that everyone shows up to church on the holidays? I think that we are walking examples (even though I do not attend church) by the way we live our lives....and I am not going to be a hypocrite and go for one day! I hope the rain stopped for you...looked like it was threatening out here in the desert yesterday, but it never materialized.

Hey Barb...did I ever tell you that my husband is a UC Berkeley grad? His degree is in astrophysics....yeah uck...math and science..ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww not for me! He always said that I should have gone to law school there...ecks!!! What is your husband graduating in? I have to tell you I am impressed. How did your lunch go with your friends? Hope your father in law gets out of that place soon!

Donna sounds like you have one busy weekend ahead of you! How did your hair come out? I got a cut and low light yesterday from my dil...I am like wow...I look so different because when my hair fads....it looks like I am blond again!!! YUCK! Have a good weekend and enjoy that baby girl....I am looking forward to my grandchildren too tomorrow...their first one where they can collect eggs!
Maureen I would get a second opinion on his knee to tell you the truth...if they are going to do all that work, why are they not talking knee replacement because the recovery time might be a lot less time. I am strongly urging you to get Joe to get a 2nd opinion!

I had a nice surprise last night did the taxes and we are actually getting a refund!! I was holding off since we have had to pay the last 3 years. I guess I finally got everything setup right!! One less thing to worry about. Going to do some cleaning today-Yuck!! We have to die the eggs, Vanessa is so excited she keeps saying-I want my Easter eggs!! She does not really eat them, but I do. Oh well that what being a child is all about.

sorry i've been mia but i've been real sick and now i'm helping my parents move today... i'm so happy there moving just a couple of blocks from my house.. well i just wanted to say hi so hi and hopefully i'll be on more often... i hope everyone has a great easter..
Janine, as always, an awesome shout out. Been busy wrapping things up this last week in preparation for Spring break!! Yahoo!!! Hope everyone has a wonderful Easter weekend. We know Rhonda and family will be. That's such awesome news, and what a lucky little girl. Today, I am going whale watching in LB harbor with my sis in law and friend. Haven't seen them in ages, so it should be a lot fun. Tonight we color Easter eggs...yes, my almost 30 and 27 year old daughters still color eggs, lol!!

Cant believe 2morrow is Easter already! Well today will be fun going to my moms for an Egg hunt for the kids. Then we will come home and color our eggs for the bunny to hide in the morning. FUN FUN FUN !
We will for sure have a blast at Disneyland! Cant wait.

More good news, I finally made it to ONEderland last week, and am having to buy new clothes. I won't be able to spend Easter with anyone, due to my work schedule. I also signed up for the 3 day walk for Breast Cancer here in San Francisco.

Joe and I are discussing his knee. He is getting a brace that will stabilize the knee while we weigh our options. He's had 3 different opinions and the one I like the best is a 1/2 knee replacement with ACL repair and ligament repair. Recovery time 6 months. According to the one doctor, the 1/2 knee will not ever wear out. However, the infection rate with this doctor is not acceptable. There's another doctor in Sacramento that my brother goes to and we might make an appointment with him. Dr. Coward. The doctor he saw the other day accused him of "surgeon shopping". Yeah, well..... we are. Want the right fix for Joe.
Today I am going to go down to the fabric store and get material for 2 blankies. 1 for Awna and 1 for a fellow employee who fell from a pole at work a few months back and is at home recovering from 3rd surgery, a MRSA infection and a bad case of the boreds! We bought him a Wii system and 3 games, and I'm sending a blankie this next week.
My friend Lauri didn't make it up last night, but she will this morning. She was way too tired last night and didn't want to chance falling asleep at the wheel.
I went and bought a new pair of sandals yesterday. I am such a shoe *****!!!! Hahahaha Love it!
Today is finishing a prom dress for youngest daughter, Laura....tonite it Prom!!..lol Also, getting back to work on daughter Emily's room, so hubby can remodel it...Emily is in Las Vegas for the weekend at Viva Las Vegas...gone for 4 days. Yippeeeeee..........That MIGHT be enough time to declutter her room.....ssssssiiighhhhhhhh, how long has this been going on now??..lol
Got my garden started...my POT garden..lol Patio Pots that is.

Did the Wal Mart thing this morning, and getting ready to go to Costco . . .dye eggs tonight - seems my DIL can't stand the smell of eggs today (don't start me" . . . walked at the gym for 4 miles last night . . . first time on a treadmill . . . felt like rubbery legs when I got off . . .

We looked at 15 houses last night and 5 are definite possiblities. We've submitted them to our landlords for their notes and they will decide which ones to bid on. I hope we find a house soon!
